With over 25 years of experience shaping brands through creativity, strategy, and storytelling, Paul Irving has built a career defined by his ability to connect ideas to emotion and audiences to brands.

Starting his career fresh out of school with A&W and Drew Carey, Paul discovered an early passion for creating work that blends entertainment, authenticity, and craft. During his years at Cossette, he led the McDonald’s business for nearly a decade while also working on major accounts such as Petro-Canada, Coca-Cola, General Mills, and Nike. His work on globally recognized campaigns like “Did Somebody Say McDonald’s,” “There’s a Little McDonald’s in Everyone,” and “I’m Lovin’ It” helped shape how the brand connected with audiences across Canada. He also played a key role in launching McCafé, combining strategic insight with bold creative execution.

At JWT, Paul led the rebrand of Tim Hortons, creating enduring campaigns such as “Every Cup Tells a Story” and “Always Fresh, Always Tim Hortons”. His hands-on approach to storytelling took him from coffee farms in Guatemala to production stages across North America, honing a visual and narrative craft that captures authenticity and emotion in equal measure.

As founder and creative director of his own studio, Paul built a multidisciplinary team recognized for cinematic storytelling and high-impact brand work. With his passion for film, music, and creativity, he was among the first to bring his vision of collapsing all these disciplines under one roof  blending strategy, production, post, and sound into a seamless creative offering.

Driven by curiosity and craft, Paul continues to find inspiration in all forms of creativity especially through his lifelong love of music and playing guitar.
