Starting fresh out of school with A&W, he had the unique opportunity to work with Drew Carey, sparking a passion for creating work that connects with audiences on every level.
Paul’s agency career includes eight years leading the McDonald’s business at Cossette, where he played a pivotal role in agency pitches and campaign development, gaining global recognition for his work, along with launching major brand platforms, “Did Somebody Say McDonald’s", "There’s a Little McDonald’s in Everyone", and the everlasting "I’m Lovin It” development in Canada, along with leading the launch of McCafe. During this time,
he honed his craft in Los Angeles under some of the industry’s top food marketers, refining a mastery of motion and still photography that brings food to life. At JWT, Paul rebranded Tim Hortons, leading high-profile campaigns like Every Cup Tells a Story and Always Fresh, Always Tim Hortons, and developed a coffee equity program that took him to a life changing experience to Guatemala capturing the essence of the brand’s story.
Venturing out on his own, Paul built an industry-leading studio specializing in food & beverage, creating iconic campaigns for KFC, Swiss Chalet, Mr. Sub, Mucho Burrito, Paramount Fine Foods, as well as major packaged goods brands like Quaker, Molson, Pepsi, Frito-Lay, Oxford Frozen Foods, and McCains. His work balances technical excellence with an understanding that great food imagery is not just about camera movement or lighting, it’s about evoking appetite, emotion, and a genuine connection with the brand.
Recognized with multiple awards, Paul brings a rare combination of agency-born discipline and independent creative vision. Whether collaborating directly with brands or through agencies, his expertise ensures that every project delivers not just beautiful visuals, but meaningful results that speak to both the heart and the belly.
